Apparatus - Hardcore Religion

12 Track D-Beat Raw Punk from this lads. Totally reminds you about 80's scandinavian D-Beat Punk. Heavy distortion sound, energetic D-Takt drum..Vocals sound a lil bit like Anti-Cimex. Must have for total d-beat fans out there!!

Old Skool Stuff

Woah..I manage to find this picture while surfing the net. It's an old skool flyer back in 2003 while I was still in Middle Class (Streetpunk band covering song from Chaos UK, Exploited and etc) but the band broke up soon after due to some personal problem. Middle Class played 3 gig if i'm not mistaken during those days with Adam on the mic, Me on guitar, Udin (Troublesome) on drum and numerous bassist player (Gmie, Russel and Luncai). In this gig we played 5 songs which is Alternative (The Exploited), Police Story (The Partisans), Kuantan Huru-Hara (Troublesome) while the other 2 songs I couldn't remember it (haha..as we grew older we tend to forgot things). While the other band that also featured in this gig was BigBang (Streetrock/Oi!), Troublesome a.k.a (Kuantan Old Bag Punkrocker), Vicious Brown Kids (70's Punk Rock Band with heavy influence by Sex Pistols and The Ramones) and Yellow Card (They didn't showed up on this gig due to some difficulties). I still remember during our 1st gig we were very fucking nervous and keep messing up on the chorus while playing the gig. Arghh..Really miss those days!! While with Troublesome I've played only once with them at Hotel Sri Malaysia Hall. We played 4 songs on that day Why??, Wailing, one new song i couldn't remember the title and Kuantan Huru-Hara. I'll upload the flyer if i can find it..

"Pejam celik pejam celik" its been 10 years now for troublesome or some call troublesome a.k.a.Yeah this band is one of my favorite band from kuantan. Their musical style had change a lot from streetpunk to arabic punk on their latest EP.Its been an exciting experience to be one of their group line-up in 9 years of EP. Don't know their current line-up for the band but the main man for this band is totally Udin. They had released 3 demo, 2 EP's and 1 single. My all time favorite song from this band is surely Kuantan Huru-Hara from their 2nd demo entitle "Future". Do check out their myspace site for stuff and info here

The First Ever VCD That I Bought

It was way back in 1998..I have to save up my lunch money just to buy this VCD..Yes it was worth every penny that i spend on it. Honestly, it was different from average Malay film about love, money and morons..Haha..By the way this story is about values of friendship. It took part in Jemapoh.

Yadi and Madiz are bored out of their minds living in Jemapoh, a village so remote that cows are more plentiful than people and are also more interesting. The pair decide to steal a car and head to the mythical Manchester. Yadi dreams of seeing his favorite soccer team Manchester United, and Madiz longs to be reunited with his long-lost father, whom he heard was living in Liverpool, which he assumes is somewhere near Manchester.

On the road, the pair meet a rocker from Singapore, skinheads and crazy kidnappers, all the while hoping that Manchester will pop up on a road sign before too long.

Hishmuddin Rais' debut feature film marks a significant departure from traditional Malaysian cinema in its fresh and youthful narrative expression, and emerges as part of a new wave of Southeast Asian cinema.

This movie also released it own soundtrack featuring our legendary Punk Rawk band Carburetor Dung (Tok Mung Nyang Gobek), Damage Digital, Rep. of Brickfields, Babushka, Koffin Kanser etc.
